These would look even better if there were matching side markers. The stock ones look a little strange/outdated along side the new lights. I wonder if there are any plans for replacement side markers...

I know...I was worried about that too. But the lamp is so narrow and deep that you don't see the orange bulb and reflector prisms unless you look down and into it...like in the last pic. In actuality I don't think it's too ricey.

If you can, take a pic with just the parking lights and one with the signals flashing.
I'll try tonight...check back for it. Damn hard to time the camera with the flash of the signal, though

matty and ViolatedDSM: email or pm Bananare...that's how I got him. I don't want to post someone else's pricing for them, though...sorry. Also see www.procarparts.com but they're more expensive.

Especially since they don't require a new bumper, right?

Boxboy, it's much easier than you think. I used to take pics. like that all the time at night. Just set your hazard lights on and snap away. Also, please take a pic. of it with just the parking light on. You da man ! Thank you. Looks great.....not ricey. BTW, I went to that link above and yes $181 is a little too high for those lights.

I agree. The side markers on the FD look like bicycle reflectors...

The style of the body may have survived the intervening years well, but the lights and reflectors are starting to date the car in my opinion.

I just put my stock lights in the oven and split them and took out the reflector...i can't afford those lights on my very small budget, but they are really nice looking. 1. question: is there an orange reflector or is the bulb orange? I just like having all one color bulb up front (white). thanks.

I have worked out a deal to carry those lights and will have a large shipment of them shortly. If anyone is interested in purchasing please send me an email jbaughman@ameritech.net . Price is $150 for the set.

I think it's an orange cap over the bulb...It's already installed and hard to tell without taking it apart.

The bulb sits pretty deep inside the lamp, so you don't really see the color unless crouch down and look straight into them, or when it's blinking...

What do you do after you put the stock ones into the oven?

Leave em in there for like 5 minutes on 250...(thats hilarious that I'm talking about lights) and then pull em out and that melts the glue to the point that you can use a screwdriver and pry the lens free of the housing...then there is an orange reflector in there that is held in by two screws...take that out and put the two screws back in because they hold a silver reflector for behind the bulb too...then heat em back up just for a minute or two, squirt some black rtv or some other sealant in there and put em back together...now whatever color bulb you put in is what shines through...

I'd recommend a heatgun to anyone else planning to do this. Too many stories of people melting their lights.

boxboy: The lights look great!

Yeah...just keep an eye on em...i used a confectionary oven...i tried a heat gun and I couldn't keep the whole thing hot for long. I recommend you cough up the cash for those up there, because they look a heck of a lot better than mine ever could.

The smoked lenses wont be ready until after the new year. As soon as I get a set I will take some pics.

Until after the new year, the only ones available are the clear/polished.

Look for more updates after the new year.

I would be interested in a set of these as well, and I'm still looking forward to a pic of these lights on a black FD.

Boxboy, the car and lights look great. As for the side markers, perhaps its their close location to the blinker lights that make them look out of place. Perhaps some 99spec side markers located further back on the fender would be nice.
