got my G3 today - fantastic!

Just got back from the 3 hour drive home, and I'm shaking like a leaf
Best thing I've ever done and I still can't believe the attention I was getting.
I had my first ever 'how fast does it go?' off a guy in a Suzuki 4x4 while I was filling up the tank - roughly 2 minutes after I'd bought it.
I love it to pieces. Can't wait to go for a cruise later.
I'm off to polish it now

Wow very very nice! Maintain it you would a baby and you will not be sorry. Be careful on the turns though, that second turbo kick in can cause some 360s.

Type R thing sounds strange, but it was the mid model for the 1992 Japanese range. Think they did a recent Type R Bathurst too?

It's got the twin HKS filters,
Apexi N1 exhaust,
Tanabe Sustec Pro suspension
A-pillar mounted Autometer guages
Panspeed strut brace

Cheers guys!

The black alloys make it seem a lot meaner than standard. No powdercoating either, it's high temp engine spray

Does the trick though!

I'm off for a spin!

Can you tell me more about the high temp engine spray?? How long does it last and how much can it endure from street driving.

thanks!!

lol @ the glass man - I'm an iMac man myself

Tony - the high temp spray is for spraying engine blocks - I think VHT are big in the US?

The guy before me had sprayed it with something black, but there where patches where the silver base was showing through.
I got some high temp spray yesterday just to be sure. Makes sense as the alloys can heat up big time when your braking hard.
Finished it off with some ordinary satin black, as the high temp was a bit flat.

Seen a load of mates now, and they all put the bad-boy look down to the black wheels.
