Talking Got my a/c working

It would get "cool" but never cold enough to actually use it so I recharged it and still nothing.

Compressor and fans were coming on so I had no idea what it could be. Well I started checking the fuses and found a 15amp fuse blown under the hood (I don't know what it was for cause I don't have the stickers). I replaced it and it immediatly got cold!! Hell yea.

First time in 5 years I've had a/c in the Texas heat. I'm so happy

I thought the compressor was coming on, maybe not. Anyone know the fuse I'm talking about?

check that you don't have too much freon, because the compressor will go bad.

Actually I did have R12 and had it fully cleaned and recharged last year but it never got cold. After that I got into my wreck and the dealer had to replace everything except the compressor and also converted it to R134a. It still didn't get cold until I replaced that fuse, (don't know which one) 15amp under the hood.
