Have you driven it or at least started it up? Any smoke? How about a compression test for the engine? How many miles on it?

ok i went to look at it it was out of gas enought to start it and it seemed fine for sitting for a year it shot out white smok for a few seconds then went away i drove it on a little stretch behind the lot because no gas boosted real good than died no gas also need new plugs and a tune but no worry i live real close to the rx-7 store (5-10 minutes) so if i get it its going in the morning and im driving it that night

Are you asking if it's a good idea to buy a heavily modified car without actually test driving it or getting a compression check? If so, the answer would be no. Otherwise, the FAQ thread has all the buying advice for looking at FDs.

Listen, you seem like you're young and just eager to get the car. Go back, put some gas in it, and really drive it. You also REALLY need a compression check. If it's such a good car, why did somebody get rid of it to begin with?

i did drive it a year ago when the privite seller had it and it ran great the reason he got rid of it it got repoed from him so i got sold at the auction and my dad missed it (hes a dealer and it ran on a day he wasent there) so if he had been there i would have a fd in my hands and everything would be better lol but i will go test drive it again just to make sure
