good prices for shop manuals
Does anyone know where i can get a shop manual for a '93 FD3S. None of the stores around here stock them and they said to order them in it would cost way too much. so i was wondering if anyone could recomend a good site for getting one for cheap.

Unless you can find it used, you will not find one "cheap". The best place to order one from would be www.mazdaformance.com or Malloy mazda.
BTW, Mazda is discontinuing the book form of the manual and is going to a binder set-up instead.
You can also download it for free in PDF form from www.iluvmyrx7.com

One more thing that I would like to add here. Do not get a Manuel made by anyone other then Mazda. The after market one's are crap.
Your best bet is to either order it from Malloy or download it from www.iluvmyrx7.com as mentioned above.

I've seen many scanned manuals covering the FD recorded on CDs on eBay. Most of them are around 10 bucks or higher. Has anyone tried any of these. If so, post your opinions. Thanks in advance.

The downloaded ones are GREAT especially when you want to print out a few pages and get them dirty while you work. The CD's sold on ebay are of course just these same files.
But, the quality is not great plus, who wants to print out all thoses pages (unless you work where you can do it after hours on the company's $$$)
There are two manuals available from Mazda:
1) The book sized one, usually sells for 30 - 40 and shows up on ebay. Its small type and a little difficult to read. I had 2 of these and recently sold one.
2) The loose leaf one, like the one currently on ebay. Great but expensive.
I use my small one and the print out a pdf page when I really need the detail.
