Good Mechanic/shop in Houston?
I'm looking for recommendations for a shop or mechanic in Houston, SE side of town (Clear lake) if I can be so picky.
I need engine evaluation and reliability mods, don't plan on performance for another 6 months or so....
Thanks in advance.

Only ones I know of are in Houston NW.
MazMax (Little york) is good if you want to stay stock or do performance mods.
Z's on Kurkhendahl (sp) if you want to do performance mods.
Z makes 600 HP 7's
Some of the Reliability mods are do it yourself easy.
The AST replacement is 15 minutes after the engine is cold.
A boost gauge is about 1.5 hours, an hour of which will be spent deciding where to drill the hole and how to mount it.
A Y-pipe should take a couple of hours (it took me longer).
*hint-pull the front turbo studs using red loctite (after you've removed the hoses) and the old part slides right out. I used bolts instead of studs for the front connection.
