car has 68k miles on it, im not sure what kind it is, but it has leather, cruise control, its suppose to be in excelent condition but needs a rebuild, well the buyer put needs engine work so im guessing that means rebuilt, its also a 5 speed, here is a pic...btw the guy is asking 6950 for it.

Repaint? Why? If you can drive it, check a/c, clutch, trans,brakes, exhaust, tires, interior, etc. If everything
appears ok...Good price. Just keep in mind the money mounts up very quickly on these cars even if uou don most of the work yourself.
My question would be way sell it so cheap if you can put an engine in for $3/4000 and then sell it. It would be worth more than $10/11,000 if in excellent condition.
Don't be sold on only the body!!!

well i was thinking, if id get a car like this and lets say it has no reliability mods, while having it dropped off to get engine rebuilt, id put on intake, downpipe, midpipe, exhaust, radiator, power fc and commander, and maybe have the transmission checked out

 

thats something like what i hope to do when the opportunity rolls around. btw if you live by the car then DEFINATELY check it out......otherwise see if you can a find a willing knowledgeable person on the forum to help ya out and check it out for ya. maybe throw sum $$ in for their time.
