Good Deal or not? I NEED YOUR OPINION

An elderly man in my town is selling a 1995 RX-7 TT.

It has 29,000 on it originial motor, and is in PERFECT condition.
It is red in color.

I live in Sacramento California, and am wondering how much I should offer him for this car..

Please let me know how much I should offer him!

Everything works fine, and this car is in PERFECT condition. It has a clear title too!

Is it the R2. I payed $21,000 for my 95 R2 with 45,000 miles on it. I would say about $25,000 if its an R2. Go for it man.

Exclamation

Have the car inspected by a good rotary mechanic, or at least by a Mazda dealership before putting out ANY money.

If all checks out ok, I would say in CA, if it's an R2 offer $22-24k. If it's a Touring, offer $20k. A Touring model will have things like leather seats, rear windshield wiper, sunroof and cruise control.

Also, make sure to run a CARFAX on it.

Check out this site for some more info on purchasing a used RX-7:

heh, he lives in Sacramento,
I know out here in Northern California, care prices
are alot more than other places.

I'd say 21k if yer lucky! but dont feel bad if you pay 25k for it.
It's an awsome car.

95's are SOOOO rare, it'd be way worth it.

But PLEASE HAVE A MECHANIC CHECK IT OUT FIRST.

you never know what kinda hidden problems have
happen in 29k miles.

1993
Base - no sunroof, cruise and leather are optional
touring - sunroof, bose acoustical sound (sucks), cruise, rear wiper, fog lamps
R1 - upgraded suspension (very rough), no sunroof, 2 oil coolers, no cruise, no fog lamps, z-rated tires, front lip

1994
base same as 93
PEP same as 93 touring
R2 same as R1 but softer suspension (nice)

1995
base same as 93 and 94
PEP same as 94 and 93 touring
R2 same as 94 R2 (very rare)

the most rare FD is the yellow competition yellow mica 93 R1 - if you can find one grab it

I paid 18.5k for a 94 touring with 29,102 miles on it. Depending on which model it is, i'd go up to around 23K.
