Good deal?

Hello,
I'm new to this forum and was wondering what the experts thought about this...I can get a red 93' TT loaded with black leather and 102K on it. The engine hasn't been rebuilt to my knowledge. How long would something like this be reliable if it hasn't been hot rodded very much? I can pick the car up for arond $8500. It looks brand new. The guy has put 5K miles on it in three years. He has 4 other cars. Thanks for your advice

Josh

How bad do you want it?

Have the car checked out by a rotary mechanic. Get a compression test, check the boost pattern, check the history of the vehicle to see if it's been wrecked, check the tires, suspension, etc...

See what might need to be replaced. Check the paint, check for rust, check the interior.. etc...

I think for 8.5K...it's not a bad deal...at all even with low compression motor..

no if the motor was shot, turbos toast, suspension all worn to ****..etc etc..then it might not be a great deal
