no, I have seen them go for a lot less. Watch ebay for about a month and you will find something equivalent for about 5-7000 less.

way too expensive... i bought mine for $9,000... if he is going to buy it for that price, he better make sure that there is nothing wrong with it or else you just blew alot of moneyin which you couldve used to maintain it...

That car should be in the $22,000-$25,000 range.

alot depends on color and at vs mt. Silver or Yellow seem to draw the highest prices. Ebay prices have been around 20K for nice stock examples.

Low mileage, stock cars are getting harder to find. Even with FD prices on the rise (for the ones that aren't beaten), that seems high.

Others have scored cars like that in the low 20s. But it's about supply/demand, so I suggest your friend find another similar car and see if one of them will budge down on price.

I agree, maybe $21k if you really want it and can afford it. It may make the gap between buyer and seller more amicable

I bought my FD in 2000 for $25K. It had 18,740 miles on the OD. Mint condition and low miles at $26K not bad at all.

Check the Kelly blue book value on line just to get some perspective.
