good, comfortable roll cage...

I am looking for a good comfortable cage for my FD...it has a Kirk cage in it now, but I cannot use the dead pedal, and have to drive with my head cocked to the right, both of which are becoming very uncomfortable. I am only 5'8", so I kinda think that this cage sucks....I want something NASA and SCCA legal...I am looking at Autopower, but don't want to get it and still have the same problem. I would greatly appreciate any feedback I could get from someone with a cage installed in their FD....thanks.

I don't think comfortable and cage belong in the same sentence. lol You're going to have to give up room and comfort in order to have a cage in a car as small as the RX-7. Your best bet would be to have a custom cage built to your liking.

Take your car to a shop that builds cages from scratch. There is no other way to do it IMO...

They will know what you need to be legal...and can build it to achieve more room for you..

by comfortable, I just meant not having to drive with my head tilted sideways....I had an autopower cage in a wrx, and it worked out great....I guess I am just being a cheap bastard by wanting to just bolt it in myself. thanks though!

What kind of cage do you need? What kind of racing do you do? Have you looked at the M2 cage/bar?
