Good choice for Trans/Diff fluid?

http://www.mazdatrix.com/q-supply.htm

I was told I need these weights:
75-90 trans 2.4 qt
90 diff 1.6 qt

But I think some people have just used the neo above in both. However, I've read some people say you need the correct factory weight...

Please let me know and is that the best price everyone had found?

As always Thank you!

Your information about the recommended viscosity and capacites is correct. From the shop manual (I am looking at it right now):

TRANSMISSION:
Grade: API service GL-4 o GL-5
Viscosity (All-season): SAE 75W-90
Viscosity (Above 10C/50F): SAE 80W-90
Capacity: 2.6 US qts

DIFFERENTIAL:
Grade: API service GL-4 or GL-5
Viscosity (Below 0F): SAE 90
Viscosity (Above 0F): SAE 80
Capacity: 1.38 US qts

That said, I have Neo 75W-90 in both the transmission and differential in my car and it has worked just fine for a long time.

Done deal thanks Max I will order 5 qts from mazdatrix in case of spills and I'll also change out the fluid that the shifter sits in.

Which one from this website do you need? The HD ($10.95) or RHD ($18.95)

Thanks

The HD is what most people use, it seems. I'm very happy with it.

Yes, and likewise. It was the best $50 I've ever spent on my car. There was a noticeable smoothness in shifting after I switched to NEO synthetic.

I've run redline, Motorex, and Neo... Neo is the winner hands down.
