i found a white 94 with 150k miles on it, no word of engine although all my sense tells me its gone and needs rebuild but even with a rebuild this could be a real good price. Right?>

The engine may be good, might be bad, it doesnt change the fact that the car has travelled 150k miles. Things ware out. suspention, diff, tranny, squeaks start appearing... you get the idea..

150K miles, no history, $10K. Doesn't sound to hot IMHO.

Interior and body condition is as important as engine/turbos. If you can do work yourself and find good deals on new or used parts it won't be a BAD deal. If you plan on having someone do all the work then forgetaboutit, buy a low mileage 93-95 car for $18-20K.

I've got a 94 that hasn't been on the road since Dec '98 though with 74K miles. It is in about perfect shape, just started it tonight!

If the engine is sound and the body is good, then it will be a good deal. I got my 93 with 98K on it for 10.5k b/c it had hail dents. Look it over, drive it to examine the suspension, and get it compression tested.
