Going to sell my engine.

Hello ppl.

I am thinking to sell my engine because i am about to order a street ported with all mods including ceramic iannettis 3mm from australia or japan to go single. My engine is the original stock engine on my 2000 Type R FD and has only 32000Km on it. It's a perfectly healthy rotary engine and hasn't made any problem ever. I will sell it with the stock turbos 280hp with the ECU and everything exept tranny. Now you will ask why don't i port this engine and the reason is one. I live in Cyprus and nobody nearby can make such a job. I have to take off the engine and send it either to Japan or U.S or Australia and it dosn't worth it due to the transportation costs. I will save only $800 on the whole setup if i do this. So i prefer to import another ported engine and sell mine for more than that. And i don't want my car to be sitting for 5-6 months also.

The question is how much shall i ask for 99spec turbos without problems and engine? And the rest of the parts i will not need since i am going single. All the parts have 32000Km's on them and never made any problems.

Antonis.

Well, although that's not a parts for selling thread, it's just to get an idea how much to ask when the time comes, but you'll be the first to know when the time comes

I would look at Ebay to sell the engine. There are a few complete engines always for sale and they are around 2,000 to 3,000. The best way is to Be abel to verify the mileage and since it's hard I would picture your car and the odometer reading and then let them know what your doing. You might even get the shop to verify your engine which is being built, this would help build up your credibility.
