God Im Stupid...Steering Wheel Question

Hey

I decided to give my son the FD and I may get another one, anyway, he's about 5'4"...Im guessing were both totally blind and stupid but I dont see a **** to lower the steering wheel? Im assuming its fixed, and dont have a manual because the car was used when I bought it(previous owner=***)
If its fixed, is there anyway to raise the seat? Its pretty ridiculous him driving around with a pillow below his *** to raise him lol.
Thanks and please ignore the ignorance.

Yes the steering wheel is fixed. Don't know of any way you could raise the seat, sorry.

tell him to sit up straight and recline the seat. I'm under 5-5 and I'm not sitting on a pillow.

Exactly, tell him to properly adjust the seat instead of using the "ghetto driving position" and he should be just fine.

You can easily purchase owner's and factory service manuals, or even download them for free from www.iluvmyrx7.com

I have a friend that is vertically challenged as well. He had the local ulpolstery shop install spacer blocks under the seat rails to raise up the entire seat. You will of course need longer bolts (make sure they are of equal replacement grade for safety) and what ever thickness of nylon, aluminum, or wood that you choose to use (wood is not recomended) Don't have any suggestions for getting closer to the steering wheel if the sliders don't do it. jack

I don't know if it will help, but you may be able to use a steering wheel spacer. You can find them on ebay with the Momo steering wheel adapters. I have one laying in the garage if you have trouble finding one.
