FL Glove Box Attachment?

Trying to repair the glove box and I can't find any diagram
either in the FSM or the body manual. Maybe I'm missing it,
does anyone know if there is such a thing?

Anyway, I have the side brackets -- but at the back those brackets
attach to another piece that in turn is screwed to a metal bar. It's
those back pieces that I need to know about.

1. do they each have a "pin" that the horizontal mounting bar slips over?
I have a pin on the left one, but not the right.
2. Do these pieces attach to that horizontal bar with anything? There are
two holes on each side of the horizontal bar but I'm not sure what goes
into them, one for sure is the plastic pin on the left.

Anyone have the two brakets at the back that attach to the metal frame?
I think I might need to replace those. Won't know until I see a pic or diagram

Thanks for any hlep

OK, it looks like the "area" I'm having trouble with is actually where the dash attaches to the frame on the passenger side.
I need to see how the end of that connection is supposed to look and work. Looks like the glove box somehow attaches at the same point.

Found one drawing of the glovebox exploded, but it doesn't show the part behind it.

Thanks for any help.

If you don't have something by tomorrow night, I'll take pictures when I'm at the car. It sucks the search is down at the moment because I believe evot23 posted a bunch of pictures similar to what you are looking for helping another member.

aiacrotary2,
Thanks for the pics-- they are helpful.
It looks like the right side has a screw/bolt in the top hole of the crossbar?

The crossbar has 2 holes on each side -- I'm trying to figure out what, if anything
goes into those holes. Looks like the connecting piece is still in your car -- it goes from
a metal bracket, then I think onto either the crossbar or the plastic side hangers for
the glovebox.

Thanks for the pictures!
