getting ready to start engine for the first time...

yep getting ready to fire her up for the first time since the rebuild. any suggestions ? im going to fill her up and crank her a few times to get the oil pumping but other then that any recommendations ??

cycle the key a few times to get fuel rails pressured up. Once it starts, don't turn it back off without letting it run for 45 minutes or so. Keep an eye on the water level.

ok cool, by cycle the key you mean dont start , just turn the key a few times ?

Yes, don't start..... just flip the key a couple 4-5 times.

sounds good, hope everything goes well, i cant afford to wait 4 months to get a rebuild
