Gauging interest in a V-mount GB by RotaryExtreme
With all the talk about V-mount kits I thought this would be the best time to do this. I've contacted Chuck (RotaryExtreme) about making the IC of the RotaryExtreme V-mount setup look like this:
http://www.steveprew.com/~rextreme/2.../re-blue-2.jpg
Chuck has agreed to make a vmount kit that will look like the RE-A unit (as far as piping) - pictured above. The same core as his normal V-mount will be used. This will allow the kit to work with M2 type CAI's. It will obviously work with the RotaryExtreme CAI, and WILL work with the HKS RS system. This is basically a variant of Chuck's original design, the piping bends/angles and endtanks are the only things that will be different.
The benefit of this is being able to keep the stock elbow, which saves you some money on having to purchase a GReddy elbow. The AWS is also retained (for those that care). Plus (now this is totally subjective) the IC pipes are more aesthetically pleasing.
We would need 5 people to get this going at a price of $2200 per set. It is the same price being offered in his current groupbuy for his normal V-mount kit. Normal price for this would be $2800, and that is not counting the custom work that is involved with making new endtanks and piping for this semi custom job. This could very well be the only time this is offered!
Look at http://www.rotaryextreme.com/vmount.html for more details regarding the V-mount.
BTW AC can be retained with this setup! Chuck is in the process of making radiators with the AC condenser bracket welded on. To make it simpler... it will work with AC

I would be interested in a V-mount group buy, however I prefer the original setup. I will use it with a single turbo and Greddy elbow. The original kit has fairly straight piping from the intercooler to the throttle body. When I say original I mean the updated original design that still allows use of the AC.
Can I get the original instead at the same price?
