Do you know if a RHD gauge cluster hood will fit a LHD gauge cluster?

No it won't, tried it in the past.

 

Yes. 100% not compatible.

 

The hoods are actually 2 pieces. The front-most half (closer to the nose of the car) might be universal, but the back half (part closest to the driver) is not.

 

I'm pretty sure the front part (gauge hood) is interchangeable, but the gauge surround is not, the side angles are different and the way they interface to the other plastics is different. The easy way to tell them apart is the US models have the lighter on the right side and the JDM ones have the lighter on the left side and all of the JDM ones I've seen have the headlight button on the right and a blank button on the left
