This was asked one other time with no response back in 2001...

How difficult is it to change the stock gauge color?? I would like a blue glow for my Black on Black R1 instead of the orange....

Any Ideas??

 

i've seen this discussed a few times (once fairly in depth) since February of this year... run a little search and you should find it. seems like it would be pretty difficult though because the colr (think i got this right) is on the gauge not the bulb meaning you have to remove a coating from the gauge and then replace it.

 

There's no film to remove. You have to have new gauge faces printed.
