gauge cluster interchangable

I have a 95 jdm rhd fd, but the odometer part just went out on me (the mileage is not showing). My question is, are all the years of fd gauge cluster interchangeable (exclude the onse with boost gauge instead of oil press. gauge. )

Second question, is there an easy fix to the disappearing mileage?

Thx y'all!

y'all?

A southern boy in Hong Kong?!?!!

Some members here gave me a phone number of a guy at a Mazda dealership that repairs them.

I found a thread on repairing it myself when this happened to my car recently. It worked for a short time and now I'm having the same problem.

I'm here online looking for that thread right now to see where I went wrong.

The number for the dealership repair guy is Ray at Malloy Mazda 703 494 9121.

Lol... not exactly a southern boy, not sure where i picked that up.
But ya I'm in Hong Kong, so "Ray" won't be reparing my cluster. Much easir for me to pick up used one then fixing it, but it will be tough to match up the same year of the car i have. Thats why I'm wondering if all the years are interchangeable.
Thx anyways.

Yes, they are interchangeable, the later model FD clusters require a ground and Map sensor wire for the boost gauge to work. See the tutorial I wrote here: [Rx7 Boutique Tutorial] How to install a 99+ Cluster in your USDM FD - RX7Club.com
