It could be a leaking injector. Either through the O rings, or through the tip. I had some 1300cc injectors bored out from RC, and when I installed them they where fine....but the first time they came online, the stuck open. That was kinda scary. Anouther time, i was installing some 850cc from a friend, and they where leaking too. CJ

From your original post:
"I'm boosting normal...10PSI at WOT, and there's no power loss of any kind. I mean the car hauls azz the way it was supposed to, and I'm very careful with how hard I run it. It was what I would call a spirited drive to and from."

If that is true it is not likely to be the map sensor line. Maybe the sensor itself but not the line, If the line were broken or off you would not be able to get or maintain any significant boost (huge boost leak).

I know when my map sensor came off i had a lot of smoke along with a rough idle...maybe its because i have a higher mileage motor at 80k orig..

Hmm...no bad smoke...no leakin' coolant. I'm taking it to a UK rotary tuner next week....let the professionals help me with it. It has a PFC, so I don't dare try and mess with anything that will muck up the tuning of it.

*sigh*
