Fuse box help!

So my buddy's 7 blew the left headlight one night. Replaced the bulb, checked the fuses, and replaced the connector.

unrelated, while looking at the interior fusebox...It seems that some things are not where they should be.

I pulled the rear wiper fuse and the ABS light kicked on.

Also, the fuse box cover seems to be from a different mazda?? I have never seen it before.

There is a fuse where the box shows a "blank" I pulled this and the engine died.

Any ideas on the fuse box deal and the one headlight??

I would greatly appreciate it.

Here is a PIC of his fuse box and cover.
This is a 93 Touring.

well I figured the left headlight out...some genius spliced the wires together and did a horrible job, it was shorting out.

Any ideas on why when I pull the rear wiper the ABS light comes on? I traced it back from the fusebox and cannot find anywhere where someone merged the 2.

that looks like the right fuse box, are you sure you are looking at it the right way? Even that loose ground wire could be the culprit. After the splice was fixed, how are things running?

Well I soldered (sp?) the spliced wires back together, and the lights don't dim when we hit the brakes now..(thats a plus!) Both headlights work great. However...I am still getting a ABS light when I pull the rear wiper fuse. This seems to be the only other circuit in question.
