..full nonseq wg operation and pfc

havin had over a decade of marriage with the sequential setup with a number of fds...
time to give nonseq a run prior to goin single on one of em..
ive already started the process.. lookin to get some input on a question ive got..
i looked into it but cant seem to get a clear answer.. or just missin it entirely...
want to leave pfc controllin the boost... so after elimination of the precontrol actuator and wastegate solenoid...
could i do either of the following... move the vacuum hose from the removed precontrol actuator to the wastegate actuator..
or swap connectors.. can someone confirm this.. or are most just runnin an mbc...

When non-sequential the precontrol should be welded/tied open, and the actuator is no longer nessasary. It can be removed or left empty. The main wastegate actuator should have one line going from a vaccuum source and the other side that used to go to the wastegate solynoid should now lead to the PFC boost control solynoid. Hope this is clear. Good luck

The PFC requires its own boost control solynoid, not one of the factory ones. I believe people are useing a specific GM solynoid. You should search in the PFC forum for more info.

Unless you are adding an aftermarket solenoid, you need to keep the WASTEGATE solenoid/actuator. The PFC will control boost using this. You will need to go into the Commander/Datalogit and change the option to non-sequential control as well.

ok to clarify.. eliminate precontrol actuator and solenoid and leave wastegate actuator and solenoid.
cap the nipple from the turbo that goes to the precontrol actuator.. and the other nipple by the precontrol solenoid...
is this correct...

I have used the pre-control solenid with sucess. In your case just try swapping the electrical connector between the pre-control and wg solenoids and see what happens to boost control.

Don't know if this helps, because I don't have experience w/ the PFC.
My ProfecB solenoid ties into the wastegate actuator on my full-non-seq.
