fuel warning light Question
Does your fuel warning light ,light up along with the rest of the warning lights when you turn your ignition on, or does it only light up when you are low on fuel????? I'm referring to the 3rd gen. of coarse....

Constant threat
Mine doesn't work.......
I need to do the check outlined in the manual and see where the problem is. Evidently that indicator lamp is a LED or something, as there is no provision for bulb replacement.

I was reading about it and it is just a thin line on the bottom of the tank. I have had it come on a couple times not good to drive with it on thats for sure.

Oh... got better info... (2 gallons)
how much gas you have in your tank is different than how much you can actually use. you might have 3.5 gallons but only be able to use 1.5 gallons more of that. the light comes on when the little round sensor is not immersed in fuel anymore. there could be more gas in the tank but it might not make its way into the fuel tray that prevents starvation.
