Fuel Tank Vapor Tank installation

Looking for how the hoses should connect to the tank. I know how my tank was but not if it was correct. I’m also looking for the screws to the pump hanger.

It's upside-down, flip it over and I think things will be more obvious.

There are plastic push clips that hold that plastic tank to the gas tank.

I had assumed it was upside down because then it actually fit on the clips. Are the hoses switched too? Is this anything more than a water bottle, does it really matter what hoses go to which? I have a spare that came with my car for some reason. Is it even something that can go bad?

Google image search is your friend here. I looked for rx-7 gas tank and found this picture -

Zoom in and you can see how it's hooked up.

I think it's just one big empty thing inside but might as well do it right. Those things never go bad.

Thank you. I saw that post and didn’t zoom in and missed that. I ended up coming up with this based off some photos I saw of it installed just looking through the access hole and going off how the hoses wanted to fit. I’m fairly certain the check valves are correct as well based off photos.
