Fuel Tank Access

Friends, I'm trying to put in-tank fuel catalyst pellets. Do I have to bring my car to a shop to do it, since it won't go through the gas filler?

The product I'm gonna try can be seen at www.broquet.co.uk

Um- are you sure you know what your adding?
Most sites usually show their biggest badest product on their front page. Theirs shows "The in-line units vary in size but the one shown is for engines up to 100 BHP is 6" long x 1 1/4" dia, excluding end fittings"

I dont think you are going to get enough flow.
If you are worried about gas costs- maybe you got the wrong car.

if you lift up the carpet in the trunk there is a access pannel you unscrew and pull out the pump/sending unit assembly and you can get in the tank from there but i would question putting somthing like that in the tank it looks like a waste of money and isnt a proven thing for the rotary. theyre kind of finiky engines if you havent noticed!

Actually, I was hoping that this thing would eliminate some fume caused by the no DP+MP mod

The car they had during the car show was an RX7 with the exact mods as I have and the exhaust fume was still tolerable.

How tough of a job is opening the fuel pump assembly?
And if I open it, will I have to replace the Seal Rubber?
