fuel system loading up, BAD

The car runs very rich, all the time. I've done a hose job and replaced the FPD just recently (less than 50 miles ago). It was doing this before that though. When cold, it'll start alright with just a slight bit of trouble. When hot, it's either already flooded or floods when trying to start. I pull the fuel pump relay and turn it over and it will start with the relay still pulled. Then I put the relay back in and go. Could the relay have the fuel pump stuck open/on? Also, if it idles for a while, it'll cut and miss out until I drive it for a couple minutes, then it runs normal. I have really bad gas mileage too. Two trips, to and from work, approximately 1 mile, and a 6 mile round trip to the DMV cost me a 1/4 tank of gas!

The relay is definitely a good place to start looking.

Look at the actual fuel pump itself. Check the fuel injectors. Your injectors may be leaking, etc.

Can I get the relay anywhere else other than the dealer (ie. Autozone, Advance, etc). I don't think the injectors would just go bad. How would I inspect the fuel pump itself?
