Fuel system cleaner before or after changing fuel filter?
Well I am pretty sure my stock fuel filter is getting gunked up and i am getting ready to change it this weekend. I want to get as much crap out of the fuel system as possible so i was going to run a fuel system cleaner in the tank of gas before I changed it. My question is, will the cleaner dislodge some of the crap from the fuel filter and get it circulating again? I am hoping that the fuel filter will catch all of the impurities released by the fuel system cleaner and will be removed with the filter. Does it make sense to not do this before the fuel filter? What do you think?

My 2 cents is that I would wait until after you change the filter to use the cleaner.
While I don't think it will make any really big difference, I would want the cleaner to do most of its work on the injectors rather than waste any of its chemicals, etc. on something already stopped by the filter.
