Fuel Sock for Bosch 044 pump?

Want to know what people are using for this particular pump. Can the OEM one be modified safely or will the one from a Walbro work? A search on the forum led me to Gene Felber's website. Looks like he really modified a generic sock. Is there something better ? Any input would be appreciated.

Gene is still writing his new site. Send him a PM. He really knows his stuff.

As to directly address your question: I would have to see a picture, but can you directly modify a Supra sock to fit the inlet? Now that I see that Gene did that, it only shows that great minds think alike! ;-)

Thanks Carlos. I figured some sort of modification was in order but I want to start with the easiest sock to work with.

This is a pretty sweet solution to in-tank Bosch 044 fuel pump mounting.

That filter for the pump is something rediculous like $260. What are other solutions?
