fuel rail question

i have done some searching and havent come up with much on what im looking for or maybe im looking in the wrong place. But heres my deal, i have access to a machine shop at my work, and i was wondering if i can take a stock secondary fuel rail and drill out the holes to make them bigger so that the 1600cc injectors will fit and bolt right into the stock location.

I think it will work im just trying to find some info such as sizes of holes ot drill. I found one size which is 11/32 and drill about 1/4 way down into the rail for the injectors to fit. Is this right or what.

And my plans for the winter are a halfbridgeport motor with most likey a t60 turbo or something along the lines of that. And then for my fuel, i was thinking 1600 secondary with 850 primaries?..And a walbrow 255 pump. and then a regulator. Do aftermarket regulators bolt right up to the stock rail, i haven searched yet, but i think they do. So would this be enough for my fuel. I already have the pfc for tuning and the fmic will be ordered along with other misc parts.

Sound good enough?..Ask any further questions and i will do my best to answer them. Also this isnt a daily driver, only a weekend race car so the car can be down for how ever long it takes me to complete this project. ( looking to start it next month and be complete from head to toe by next summer and that includes wheels, body mods etc )
thanks for the space

Stock 850cc injectors are side feed and fit into the rail to cover the gas intake . The common 1600 cc injectors are top feed and the rail fits over the top of the injector .Unless you found 1600cc injectors that are side feed . After market regulators do not fit on stock rails, which will not work with top feed injectors . IF you can have the shop make a new rail for top feed injectors then you are set .The machine work is not hard .
