Early version of the primary fuel rail to secondary fuel rail has just a regular fuel injection hose, later version has been updated with banjo fitting and hose all in 1 piece (N3D8-13-420)

I wanna ask if i can just remove the early version from fuel rail's end and install the later banjo fitting version without getting new fuel rail.

As the primary injector casing it mounts to is the same across all models, I'd say it will fit fine.

 

Yes you can and should install the newer style fitting. That was part of the fuel recall.

 

only the US cars got the fuel recall, so a JDM/EDM car will have the old style

 

they did update the part on the later version of the FD, no recall tho
