Question Fuel question....

So far my mods are cb, dp, greddy profec B, PFC, apexi intake. I am running no more than 10-12 psi.

I am looking to put in a midpipe and am trying to do it the safest way possible. Should I add injectors and a fuel pump before I put this in with my mods? Maybe I just need a larger fuel pump like the supra one?

I am well aware of the spiking problem when doing this and thats why I got my PFC and commander as well as a greddy profec B. I was getting spike before the greddy unit but now none.

I plan on adding a ic too but that will be later. I also know that it must be tuned when I get the mp.
Just wondering about the fuel situation.

Jerry

Fuel should be fine (as far as stock injectors). The only thing you might check is your fuel pressure as you increase your boost levels, although without an upgrade IC, I wouldn't go past 12 PSI to often. Depending on your fuel pressure and boost level, that would determine if you should look into an aftermarket fuel pump.

However, if you are looking into adding a midpipe, get ready to deal with boost creep. On most FD's, a midpipe overruns the stock wastegate thus requiring restrictors on the exhaust or wastegate porting to keep the boost under control. A boost controller cannot do squat if the wastegate is just overpowered.

I went with the denso fuel pump (supra) and 1300cc injectors with the PFC. I have not recieved the PFC yet but I am sure that all will be good

Oh, and port the wastegate on the turbos to keep from over boosting. You might be able to get away without doing so but I have a brand new motor so there is no way I am going to risk it.
