Exclamation Fuel pump Voltage

Hi does anybody know what the voltage at the fuel pump should be, i think it flicks between 6V and 12V. when should this happen? should the fuel pump prime when i turn the key to the "ON POSITION" ?

Yes it should prime when the key is turned to on. When I tested mine I think it was like 12.2v if I remember correctly.

Yeah 12.2V when u start the car after the computer kicks in and changes the voltage to 6V for low rpm does that happen with yours? myne doesnt prime either..
