Fuel pump question
I'm looking to get a new fuel pump. Does getting one of these require a fuel pressure regulator to make it work better? What fuel pumps are you guys using for your cars? How difficult is it to install one of these babies compared to a fuel filter change? Thanks!

I don't know about the fpr but I am running a supra tt fuel pump. I think it's awesome until I get a single turbo and run a lot of boost and it may still be fine for that. Supras can use them for 425rwhp so it's def okay for our cars.
There are a few other fuel pumps that are direct drop-ins for our cars. I have heard of Walbros failing so I'd say no to that one even though its cheap. The one from the 3 rotor or denso I believe is good but expensive.
It is really easy to install. You basically just take out a few things in the way and take out the assembly and then switch out pumps and put it all back. It took me about 2 hours taking my time and struggling to get a few things loose with shitty tools.
I picked up my used supra pump from someone on the supra forums for 100 shipped!
good luck
