Fuel pump problem
just installed a walbro 255 fuel pump and the car won't run longer that 5 minutes without shutting down. no idots lights or check engine comes on. try to restart will not but after i wait 10 to 15 min. it will start up again for 5 minutes or so.

Wild guess but maybe your fuel pressure is too high now due to walbro, or a faulty pressure regulator, or because of debris that got lodged at regulator or injector(s), or one even loose vacuum line(s). Does the idle get slow and ‘lumpy’ and/or do you see any black smoke from exhaust? You could install a fuel pressure gauge to verify.
