fuel pump max pressure troubleshooting

I'm running stock hard lines and rails. I have deleted the stock FPR and FPD replacing them with -6 AN braided fuel line and a Sard FPR

I capped off the return line from my Sard FPR to dead head the fuel pump for max pressure.

The stock pump topped out at 50 psi. The book says max pressure should be 70-107 psi. I bleed all pressure and swapped back the Supra pump and did the max pressure test, it topped out at 40 psi. Both bad pumps I guess?

I figured out what was happening. Just by grounding the F/P wire at the diag connector doesn't apply full presssure to the fuel system, it only trips one fuel relay and is only intended for use as an easy way to prime the system. Full pressure is only made when both fuel pump relays are closed. I jumpered the main relay and grounded F/P at the diag connector. My fuel pressure quickly shot up to 80 psi with the Sard turned up (engine not running).
