fuel pump install?
nope, you dont gotta drop the fuel tank, just take off the carpet in the rear, upbolt everything you can see and take off the lines (watch for fuel spray) and you should beable to just lift it right out of the tank. It's easy
A few more tidbits...
For safety's sake, disconnect your battery first.
Clean the top of the fuel tank/pump area off with damp paper towels or something first to minimize dust/dirt going into the tank.
The fuel lines can be quite stubborn to remove, and in fact you might find that you can replace the pump without removing all of them by just removing the fuel line brackets and pushing them aside.
The pump is held in by several phillips head screws which are easy to strip the "X" out of. Use a good screwdriver and push down with a decent amount of force to make sure you don't ruin the head.
Once you get it apart, be careful when transferring the O Ring/Plastic Ring parts onto your new pump; they like to crack.
While in the area, use a flashlight and inspect the inside of the tank for excessive sediment or other strange stuff.
