Fuel pump id?

Is there any way to find out if the fuel pump is stock or upgraded? I would assume stock one will have some sort of letters on it or something. This pump that's in the pictures has nothing written on it except for two numbers on the top plastic part. And also is it supposed to be on an angle like that?

I thought it was different, the one I have in my tank at the moment is a little 'thicker' and dark green in colour. The one that's in my tank says denso in it. I bought a used tank because mine rattles like crazy, I think one of the re-enforcement things broke off inside, anyway, this pump was in it.

Thanks, It does look like walbro, but also a little different design of the top plastc thing, but maybe the one in the pic is a newer model or something. It also looks like it's for a different car because to me it looks like it doesn't fit properly into the bracket thing, the bottom part does not go in all the way, the filter doesn't allow it. It looks fresh, so I would assume it's better than the stock one. I don't need a fuel pressure regulator with it do I? The car that it came on didn't have one.

Is there a way to find out for sure, may be like a part number or something? Here is the one that I have in my tank compared to the unidentified one, the denso one that was in my tank looks a little larger in diameter. Is larger better?

Actually the Supra TT pump is a Nippondenso pump and is dark green just like the stock one but flows at a much higher rate. I installed the Supra TT pump in my FD and you can't tell the difference in them without the part numbers which I can't seem to find my box that the Supra TT one came in and currently has my old pump in it. I would email Jason at the rx7store and ask him what the part number is on the Supra TT pump. http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/ni...nso%20pump.htm

I don't really like how the silver pump is held in the bracket, there is a potential for it to fall out. Hope that doesn't happen.
