AN fuel pump hanger?
AN fuel pump hanger?
Does anyone make or know a place that I can get a single pump hanger with AN fittings? I don't need a dual but I am running lines. Any info would be great. Thanks

you dont have to put 2 pumps in it. you can do just 1.
Or, if your stock hanger is in decent shape, you can cut off the hose barb connection and drill a hole for a 6AN bulkhead.

Yes you can just drill a hole in the top of the stock hanger plate and add a AN Bulkhead fitting. A -8 bulkhead is not needed for a single pump. Just put a -6 bulkhead fitting through the stock plate. On the bottom side you can use a female -6 to 3/8 barb adapter. A -6 pushfit hose end would work exactly the same. Then you will need 3/8" submersible fuel hose to connect the pump to the hose barb. You can run a -8 hose from there up to the filter and then rails if you wish... but dont worry about a -8 bulkhead, a -6 is plenty for a single pump.
I just drilled a hole in the top of my stock hanger and used a -8 90 degree bulkhead fitting. You will also want to change out the wiring feeding the pump as the stock is not a big enough gauge.
This was my setup before I changed to dual pumps. I would have just cut off the OEM feed and return but the idiot that worked on the car for the guy the owned the car before me drilled holes in the top and ran the hoses directly through the cover to the pumps so mine looks a bit sloppy.

Fittings
I just ordered fittings from ANfittings.com to go from my -8AN(feed) to 3/8"(at the pump) they are very helpful, I ordered 2 fittings for under $20 and received tracking info less than 2 hours later.

hello,
I would like to add on to this for guidance for myself and other who might have the same or similar request,
I'm currently doing a single turbo engine rebuild (street port/BW S362/ID750&2000) and plan on using a single Aeromotive 340 Stealth fuel pump in hopes of reaching 400+ hp.
my request would be if anyone could make a list of parts sizes needed to upgrade using the stock fuel tank plate.
thank you very much in advance.
regards

None...
The stock lines support over 440whp. .. I did 440 last fall single pump (450l/hr walbro) logging my fuel pressure too, no drop up top either...
Guys on here have don't over 700 whp on factory lines...
Depending on your ecu route... I would highly advise going with a 0-10psi pressure sensor & datalogit your pressure with other vital engine info...
Some of the newer ECU's can even be set to cut ignition in the event of low fuel pressure so you can save a motor...
That would be my suggestion...
