fuel problems 101
Hello,
Once again I am on a fuel problem hunt. I have a very rich condition, so bad that my exhaust temp is only 820f. I have a few ?s some people my help me with. I have my car being inspected buy all they want to do is throw parts at it. Not really a very effective way of doing business. This is also a vender.
Well first I will start out with I have suspected my injectors leaking and have sent them back to RC engineering twice now for cleaning and they say that they work fine and should not be leaking. So they are telling me I need to change those as well.
Next off I have a walbro fuel pump and they say it can not be ran on the car with out a aftermarket fuel pressure regulater. Is this true? I had it running on the car before and it ran rich at idel but fine other times.
Lastly, when the throttle is hit the fuel pressure jumps to 60psi, I know that is to much but could all these problems be linked to a falty fuel pressure regulater?
any input would be very helpful no need to just throw parts at the car its very waste full. I really like the car but when I take it to a shop it always runs worse than when I had it.
Thanks,
Chris
