Fuel Pressure Regulator Causing car To buck 93 FD

I added a Jackson Racing Fuel Pressure regulator (Rising Rate), it was used my friend had taken it off his boosted miata because my car was going lean

and it worked on his car.

the FPR didnt do much to fix my issue , I later found out when i did the FP rewiring I used to weak a fuse . and thats why I was going lean ,

re did the FP Wiring and then the car was running well , UNTIL the car hit 4 psi , asoon as it hit 4 PSI the car bucked like a bronco , A/f Would always be at 10.0 a/f when it would buck , so i'd been playing with the Power FC leaning it out . Thinking maybe tomuch fuel was dousing the ignition , because the A/f were always in the 10's when ti happened .

I started to think coils had gone bad , and sparkplugs may be bad . Ordered new plugs and wires just incase .

But Just for giggles I decided to unplug the FPR from the vacume hose ..

NowMy A/f are almost perfect 12.3 at 9 psi ( part throttle ) then after 4k rpms it dips into 11.5's

But more importantly No more bucking .. So

i'm stumped whats going on here ... is the FPR to tight and causing the car to drown the spark like I thoguht it was ?

is this something that could happen or is the FPR bad ( no Fuel Pressure gauge ) I ordered it and going to install this weekend

is my theory correct maybe or is there something wrong with the FPR ?

I did try adjusting the screw almost all the way out . and it didnt do much . LOL
