Fuel pressure question. experts please jump in.

Basically iam wondering what exactly the fuel pressure solenoid does. Let me explain my situation, I just got my motor rebuilt and when I went to pick it up the guys at rx7 store told me that I should have the fuel pressure solenoid hooked up. Now I just remembered, when I got the motor dyno tuned before this I didnt have the fuel pressure solenoid hooked up, I just had a vaccum line going straight to the fuel pressure regulator. So since the car was tuned without the fuel pressure regulator solenoid hooked up and now it is iam wondering what will happen. Will it run ritcher or leaner when I boost. BTW iam non sequential and on the PFC so I have the rats nest completely out except for that solenoid.

As I recall you can just run a pressure source to the FPR and bypass the solenoid.
