Familiarize yourself with this:

Now what I did was mount the sender in a block which was installed in the line.

Yep, I used the line that comes up by the oil dip stick. Bought a $10 FP gauge "kit" from Autozone, threw out the gauge, and used the threaded assembly in line with the high pressure hose.

Here's a photo of how I tapped in to the stock fuel line so that I could measure my '95 FD's fuel pressure. Just used a brass T and a couple of hose barbs, but I tried to leave most of the fuel line's protective covering in place. Now, whenever I need to check the fuel pressue I remove the pipe plug and attach my gauge.

bringing back an old thread. where did you mount the sender? i figured you didn't just leave it hanging off the stock lines, the thing seems kinda big and heavy. It would great if ic ould get the one suggestion on rob rx7's site witht he 3/8 to 3/8 barb with the 1/8 NPT tap and just screw in the sender there, but i'm worried aboutt he thing just hanging there.
I've been looking for 3 way tees at summit but i can't find anything that would look like it would suite my purposes. all I could think of is like the same adapter with a male 1/8 NPT to a barb 5/16 or something. the only problem is i can't find a female 1/8 NPT fitting to 5/16 barb on summits site. can anyone suggestion a better site to find fittings? or can someone suggest a better way to install the gauge? Hawaii is semi limited when it comes to finding special fittings so want to get thing thing right esp when it cost like 15 bucks to ship small parts.
1 final question, if they say like it has a thread size of 1/8" pipe does that mean 1/8 NPT? or like is it different?
