Question Fuel lines

How do you remove the fuel lines and not have fuel spit out everywhere? I know there will be a little fuel spray, but how much am I suppose to expect.

I'm trying to do an overhaul and need the fuel lines disconnected so that I can remove the motor.

It will spit for 1 or 2 seconds ,just put a rag over the fitting if you do not pull the fuse and run the pressure down .
