Fuel Line Install

Fuel Line Issue
Hello & Good Evening,

Facts :
* Car is being converted to parrallel stock twins
* The car was original automatic and converted to manual
* The original engine was replaced, the replacement being manual needed to have the main loom removed and the automatic loom installed. The dashboard and some other piece of loom are automatic/manual specific.

The Issue

Fuel lines from the tank come in to the engine bay from the passenger side, connect to three brass hardlines (which are attached to the rats nest frame) and then two soft lines connect the brass hardlines to the fuel rails (at the fuel press. reg and some else similar <In primary, out secondary right ???>)

Now, the soft line from the brass hardline that connects to the fuel rail that holds the two injectors closest together seems to be kinking and is hard pressed up against the edge of the rats nest.

The connections don't even look like their designed to be connected.

Comments & Thanks Kids

Comes in at fuel pressure damper on primary and exits at fuel pressure regulator on secondary....correct.

Pictures seem to be an interminable load from imageshack. Been a long time ago to remember, possibly the standard fuel lines are pre-formed like the vacuum ones - know they were a ***** to remove. From memory, just used 5/16" high pressure hose slightly longer than standard to avoid the kinks and used a bit of silicone fireshield for heat protection rather than the standard foam...may have given the nest a bit of a tweak too!

Not sure about the brass comment, if it's standard, the lines are either cad plate or more likely gold passivated zinc.
