fuel line help

Just bought a new reg that has -6 fittings. I want to use the stock lines. How do I fit them together?

I know that the stock lines take 5/16 hoses, which should take a -2. Unfortunately I can't find any -2 to -6 adapters.

Any ideas to getting around this problem?

5/16 = -2?? no wonder you are having such a hard time. try to get a 3/8 37* to a 5/15 barbed.
man you were WAY off! LOL

A -2 AN size is for a tube size of 1/8". This is the wrong size.

A -5 AN size is for a tube size of 5/16". So if you want to mate a 5/16" hose you will need an -5 AN.

Therefore you need a reducer to handle the -5 / -6 combination.

Then you will need a pressure sleve for it for the hoses.

These hoses and fittings are all to confusing. So If I want to attach the hoses to the stock lines I should use 5/16 lines and attach it to 5 to 6 AN adapter? Are barb fittings OK?

there are like 400 ways to do it. Mike just said one.... try www.mcmaster.com you will need a 37degree 3/8 (JIC) as i already said. an O-ring. and make the 3/8 male have a male NPT of 3/8. now look for a female 3/8NPT that has a 5/16 (or if you wnat to call it a -5 ) barb on the other end...
