Fuel economy with PFC?

As of right now the motor side is stock and I am getting the worst fuel ever. I get about 180km to a tank at $77 to fill. ***** lasts me 2 or 3 days. I have a power FC that I just got and have yet to put in but am wondering how much better fuel I can get out of the car when I do switch it out. even if I have to get it tuned I am just curious what the car is capable of cause this is getting retarded hahaha

Wow, I would be looking for a problem. I am stock and at 150 miles I still have half a tank, I don't think the PFC is gonna solve the problem you are having.

Agreed. But also noting on how much of a lead foot the driver is.

When my FD was stock I used to get ~300 miles (495km) per tank... After I put in my PFC a full tank gave me ~400 (km) (660 km) that is roughly ~24 mpg (39.6 kpg). Now if I'm a lead foot and given that I have 1300's secondaries that mpg drops to like 12-15 . All I know is that I'm glad I didn't go 1600's oof

When I picked up my FD last year I drove it from Richmond VA to KC KS. I didn't know it at the time but the pfc was using an old basemap. Cruising across the states and enjoying some boost here and there through the mountains and curves I averaged 26 mpg the whole trip. Stock injectors, bosch 044 pump.

back in the day, you could replace the stock ecu with the PFC, and the car ran better, but mpg i think didn't change

I don't see the benefit to swapping in a Power FC on a completely stock car.

Well i have done the fuel filter, have changed the 02 sensor when I got the car. Have had it for almost 3 years and its been the same since the day I got the car. What else could be causing the problem? i picked up the 1680 secondaries but do not want to put them in with this already being an issue haha. I have tried to baby the car and most I have gotten out of a tank is 210km.

Have you cleaned your injectors lately? Flow of the injectors could be crap and causing this as well. I would take them out and ship them off to injector rehab or something. It is fairly cheap, and then you know that your injectors are working as efficiantly as possible..
