i bought a wrecked 93 rx7 r1 and i am just getting it done. the car had front end damage. so far, i have bought parts online that did not exacly fit. one was the headlights and the other was the front bumper lights( the ones in the middle of the bumper, not fog lights) the headlights that were sent to me were square and did not fit. the bumper lights look just right but they are a little too big and they dont quite fit in. my question is, were these parts diffrent from other 3rd gen parts? were the 93 or 94 or 95 have diffrent setups or was there a diffrence in these parts from touring rx7's to r1's. or did i just get screwed!

 

If the lights are square you probably purchased FC (2nd gen RX-7s) headlights. Show some pics so we can help you out.

 

Yes, you probably ordered parts for the 2nd generation RX7, not the 3rd. Especially the square headlights. Do they look like the ones on this awesome FC?
