Free paint job on the government !

well as the story goes I got a call from my friend , he told me that the CE guys on base decided to re-paint the parking lot spaces lines, well my FD happened to be parked in one of them. The idiots painted the lines with my car in the spot, they gave no warning of it just did it, they managed to get white paint on my side skirts and front lip .

On a good note I will be going to the justice office on base and file a claim against the government , resulting in a free paint job on them, and a free front lip .

Anyone know of any good paint shops in south jersey?

could I get an R1 front lip, for the same price as stock?

That stuff does come off. You need to use a good bug/tar remover.

My buddy’s girl friend followed a line painting truck and just happen to drive on the white line right behind it. The whole right lower side was covered in reflective white paint. She is blond and I sure the guy painting the lines was pissed. It was on there a week before he could find the time to scrub it down.

Yea I figured but they won't know that, so I think I'll try to get a free paint job first

sometimes getting money from the government for personal losses, caused by them, is like getting blood from a stone. I hope it works out for you. If they are going to give you money, just pocket the money and clean the paint off like suggested. Maybe you can do a few mods to the car or something.

Dude...thats an even better idea, because to repaint my car I think it would be around 5,000 for a good job.

well i am in the military so they kind of have to reimburse me .

lets see 5,000= a rebuild OR

Intake
catback
DP
PFC
99 spec tail lights
99 spec turn signals

I think i personally would just put it all in the bank, incase your blow a motor. You can mod the car with any new income you have coming in, and when it finally desides to go boom, you got enough for a new ported motor.

Or when you get the cash you could send the money to you fellow service men who have been receiving IOUs from the government.

J/K Do what you want with it. Good Luck.

Are you definetly getting the money Nicki? Cause if not i wouldn't give your hopes up, plus getting something from the government.. wouldn't that take a while, they are behind in everything and anything. But on your behalf i hope you get the money, and a lot of it for that matter and spend it wisely.. Why not put enough money aside for 3mm seals on a nice streetported motor for when yours does go, indubitably it's gonna go, just think of it as a minor increase in performance and spend the rest on reliability if you haven't already.

Let me get this straight. MY tax dollars are paying for YOUR paint job??? You better pick a good color and not put on a shitty body kit!

I am not gonna get a body kit, just get it redone in Montego blue with a 99 spec lip and maybe a few stickers (j/k)

I give it a 1 in a zillion chance that you'll get 5 grand. I'll be surprised if you get anything over a grand...and anything this decade.
